Youth in a Connected World: Erasmus+ at Kings
From 18 to 26 September 2026, Kings Schools International was proud to host the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “Youth in a Connected World,” co-funded by the European Union and supported by the Slovak National Agency, NIVAM.
Throughout the programme, our campus became a meeting place for young people and educators from Spain, Portugal, Türkiye, Ukraine, Georgia and Slovakia, bringing together different cultures, perspectives and experiences in one international learning environment.
At the heart of the project was a shared question: how can young people develop the skills and confidence they need to participate actively and responsibly in an increasingly connected world?
Through non-formal education, interactive workshops, collaborative activities and intercultural exchange, participants explored topics related to digital competencies, inclusion and active European citizenship. Working alongside peers from different countries encouraged them not only to develop practical skills, but also to communicate across cultures, exchange ideas and learn from perspectives different from their own.
The programme reflected an important part of learning at Kings: education extends beyond the classroom. Opportunities to collaborate, communicate and engage with the wider world help young people develop the independence, openness and competencies they need for their future.
Hosting “Youth in a Connected World” also gave our school community the opportunity to contribute to the wider Erasmus+ network and to create meaningful connections between young people across Europe and beyond.
We were delighted to welcome all participants to Kings Schools International and to see our campus become a space for learning, dialogue, connection and cultural exchange.
